How the day goes
Arrive at the park. After 9:30 parking may be full and access to the park may be restricted.
We leave the launch: a 3-hour boat tour through the scenic areas of Lake Tapps.
Optional wakesurfing with a professional instructor, boards for all levels.
We gather on shore for a delicious traditional Uzbek lunch: pilaf or dymlyama, your group picks. A SurfWhisperer signature!

📍 About the lake
Lake Tapps is a man-made reservoir fed by the White River. It spans approximately 2,500 acres and is known for its warm, clean water, perfect for swimming and water sports.
The lake offers stunning views of Mount Rainier and is surrounded by parks, beaches, and picnic areas. If you’ve never been, you’re in for a treat.

⚠️ Good to know
- Transportation is not included: all guests arrive on their own at the boat launch site.
- Park entrance fee: approximately $7 per vehicle.
- Arrive before 9:30 AM. After that, parking may be full and access to the park may be restricted.
- Near the launch is a public park with a beach, ideal for friends or family who aren’t joining the boat but want to enjoy the lake.
- Season Passes don’t apply to tours.
