Three ways to ride ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ

๐ŸŒŠWakesurfing on Lake Washington

We surf the open water of Lake Washington, riding parallel to the SR 520 bridge. The bridge works as our windbreak: wind from the north, we ride its south side; wind from the south, we switch to the north side. That keeps the water glassy. Depending on your launch spot, you may cruise in from Lake Union through the Montlake Cut, past UW Husky Stadium and Union Bay.

๐ŸงกRomantic trips: Lake Union to the Ballard Locks

An easy, scenic cruise around Lake Union with its houseboats, downtown skyline and the Space Needle, then west through the ship canal past Fishermenโ€™s Terminal to the Ballard Locks.

Sunset Cruise ยท 1.5 hrs

โœˆ๏ธBlue Angels over Lake Washington

Every year in early August, the Boeing Seafair Air Show brings the Blue Angels to Lake Washington. We head out from Lake Union through the Montlake Cut and watch the show from the water near the I-90 bridge.

Good to know

Where do we start?

Our home port is on Lake Union in Seattle. Your exact launch spot comes with your booking confirmation, right after you book and pay.

Why do you surf on Lake Washington instead of Lake Union?

Lake Union is a busy, slow-speed lake shared with boats, seaplanes and kayaks. Lake Washington gives us open, glassy water and room for a long, clean wave.

Will we see downtown Seattle?

Yes. From Lake Union you get a classic view of the downtown skyline and the Space Needle.

What are the best views on Lake Washington?

On a clear day you get Mount Rainier and the Cascades right over the water, plus the floating bridges and waterfront homes along the shore.
